2nd Reading (St George's) Brownies
Brownies don't currently meet at St.Georges although it is hoped they will return in the future.
The Brownies are a uniformed organisation that is part of the Guide Association for girls aged 7 - 10 years old.
We hold informal meetings which consist of badge work, making activities, discussions and games. We also go away on pack holiday once a year.
We aim to help the girls communicate with other girls of different ages and abilities and from different schools in the area.
We meet in the Church Hall on Monday evenings between 6:00pm and 7:30pm.

Guides
Guides don't currently meet at St.Georges although it is hoped they will return in the future.
The Guides are a uniformed organisation that is part of the Guide Association for girls aged 10 - 14 years old.
The girls are encouraged to work in small groups and to plan what they want to do with help from adult leaders and booklets published by the Guide Association.
We aim to help the girls to reach their potential and help others while having fun.
We meet in the Church Hall on Friday evenings between 6:45pm and 8:45pm.

Beavers
Beavers don't currently meet at St.Georges although it is hoped they will return in the future.
The Beavers are a uniformed organisation that is part of the Scout Association for boys and girls aged 5 - 7 years old.
Our meetings take the form of activities, games, craftwork and outdoor activities (weather permitting!).
We aim to help the children on the path to becoming a scout. We follow the aims and objectives of the Scout Association.
We are in need of more Uniformed Leaders!

Cubs
32nd Reading Cubs don't currently meet at St.Georges although it is hoped they will return in the future.
The Cubs are a uniformed organisation that is part of the Scout Association for boys and girls aged 8 - 10½ years old.
We use creativity in our meetings, we have outdoor activities and outings and play games.
We think of others and the environment.
