 The Choir

We are a friendly, lively and enthusiastic group and are always looking for new members.
We also enjoy learning new music and often participate in Reading Deanery events.
There are currently 12 members of the choir, singing all four parts.
St George's Church Choir have been affiliated to the RSCM since 1956 and we attempt to uphold their standards and principles.
We aim to sing to the Glory of God, proclaiming the Gospel of Christ and leading the congregation in singing and worship.
We meet for practice in the Church on Wednesday evenings between 7:00pm and 8:00pm.
We practice Hymns, Psalms and Canticles for the Sunday Services and also learn Anthems to perform in the Church services when appropriate.
We sing for weddings, funerals and other major Church festivals. |
